February 2025 Impact Project: 110 Days of Business Training
Empowering Women in East Africa to Launch Businesses
At MAD Wealth, we aim to unlock the good in every business, and that means backing projects that empower communities at the grassroots level.
For February, we got behind an impact project that lives and breathes transformation—supporting women in East Africa through the Wezesha Business Program, with the help of B1G1. “Wezesha” means to enable in Swahili, and that’s exactly what this project does.

Thanks to this initiative and your support, we contributed 110 days of business training and microfinance support to women in need. These aren’t just stats—they represent real women launching real businesses, stepping into independence, and rewriting their futures.
This one ticked every box. It delivered training, tools, and microloans directly to the women driving change in their homes, families, and neighbourhoods.
How the Program Changes Lives
The Wezesha Business Program goes beyond theory. It gives women the practical skills and resources to start and sustain small businesses that support their families and ripple out into their communities.
- Business training tailored to real-world challenges
- Microfinance support to launch or grow small enterprises
- Life essentials for families—food, shelter, education
- A focus on long-term change, not short-term fixes
Already, 10 women-led businesses have launched in Baringo, Kenya, and more are in the pipeline. These women are building income, gaining confidence, and most importantly—becoming the change in their own lives.
Our Giving Strategy in 2025—and Beyond!
In 2024, we smashed our 20,000 impacts goal. This year, we’ve gone bigger with a North Star goal of 1,000,000 impacts. No fixed deadline—just a clear mission: focus on meaningful change.
Instead of simply tracking numbers, we’re choosing projects that matter—like this one—and giving our clients a voice in the process. Each month, you vote.
We deliver the impact: simple, transparent, and powerful.
Be Part of What’s Next
Keep an eye out for your next voting email—we’ll need your input to choose March’s Impact Project.
Because when we combine purpose with profit, and use business as a force for good—everyone wins.
