What’s the Project All About?

In Zimbabwe, many families face chronic food insecurity and malnutrition through our partnership with B1G1. Women do around 70% of domestic farm work, yet they often lack access to the tools, training, and financial services they need to succeed.

This project helps change that by providing agricultural loans of $160 to 1,800 female smallholder farmers. With these funds, they can purchase quality seeds and fertilizer, significantly boosting their maize harvests — enough to feed their families and start building sustainable, income-generating farms.

Empowering Farms, Building Futures

Each loan is paired with financial literacy and business training, giving women the skills and confidence to manage their farms like businesses. It’s about more than farming — it’s about creating long-term food security, financial independence, and community resilience.

This is exactly the kind of impact we’re focused on in 2025.

After surpassing our 20,000 impacts goal last year, we’ve set our sights on something bigger: 1 million meaningful impacts. No deadline. Just a clear mission to support projects that matter — and give you a voice in the process.
