241 Days of Agriculture & Financial Training

241 Days of Agriculture & Financial Training

In May, we helped sponsor 241 days of agricultural and financial training for female entrepreneurs in Zimbabwe — and the impact is real.

May Impact Update

Through our partnership with B1G1, this initiative, led by MicroLoan Foundation Australia, is all about turning farming into a sustainable business.

In many rural communities, women grow vegetables, raise chickens, and run small farms to support their families. But with climate change making things more unpredictable, they need more than just hard work — they need knowledge, tools, and resilience.

What’s the training all about?

Women in the program learn conservation farming techniques, how to budget and save, and how to plan for the future. It’s not just about surviving — it’s about thriving. With these skills, they can stabilize their microenterprises and even diversify their income sources, creating a safety net for their families.

The training is delivered by agriculture officers, financial literacy experts, and inspiring female role models from their own villages. It’s a powerful mix of expert guidance and peer-to-peer learning.

Behind the Impact

Delivering this kind of training takes a lot — from materials and staff salaries to transport, fuel, and even motorbike maintenance. Every detail matters to keep the program consistent, high-quality, and far-reaching.

And the results speak for themselves.

Each woman trained isn’t just building a better future for herself — she’s uplifting her entire household and community. With over 3,895 active female entrepreneurs and more than 16,000 children and vulnerable adults in their care, the ripple effect is powerful and far-reaching.

Help Shape What Comes Next

In 2024, we set a goal to create 20,000 impacts — and we smashed it. This year, we’re thinking bigger: 1 million impacts. No deadline. Just a clear mission to focus on what truly matters.

We’re not just counting numbers. We’re choosing projects that create real change — like empowering female farmers in Zimbabwe — and we’re inviting you to be part of the journey of building a future where business is a force for good.

Together, we are #MakingADifference.
